SAFE KIDS CONNECTICUT |
Since 1992, Safe Kids Connecticut has been a statewide network of people and organizations who work together to prevent childhood injury. Safe Kids Connecticut and its partners have distributed child safety materials and educational materials to raise awareness regarding this number one threat to children: unintentional injury. We cover a variety of issue including:
|
Car seat and Motor Vehicle Safety |
Bicycle Safety |
Pedestrian Safety |
|
Water Safety |
Poison Safety |
Fall Safety |
|
Playground Safety |
Sports Safety |
Burn Safety |
There is no one safety device or advice that can prevent all types of childhood injury. However, as many as 90% of childhood injuries can be prevented. Safe Kids Connecticut has a multi-faceted program to reduce death and injury.
